Darwin's Evolutions will require one full color piece of art for the periodical cover along with one piece of line-art or black and white illustration art for each story per issue. We may also seek rights and participation in producing an annual "Art of Darwin's Evolutions" print-on-demand art book.

Our current cover art strategy is to locate pre-existing works that thematically complement our content and "feel" rather than contracting such works outright. We offer $100 for the right to use an image for our cover art. We make no claim of exclusivity on these works related to publication although we require that we be allowed to make the magazine with the cover art available in our archives for a minimum of one year after publication.

Our black and white or gray scale interior art is contracted at the rate of $25 per piece. These images are not meant to be grandiose pseudo-cover art, but rather small character-studies or setting pieces inspired directly by the fiction. As this art is contracted, we require exclusivity for 60 days following publication and the right to keep the magazine featuring the art available in our archives for a period of one year after publication, minimum.

Please be aware that any imagery shown on Darwin's Evolutions hosted web pages should be PG-13.

We welcome samples of your work or links to online galleries for review by our Art Director. Any images recieved will be held in confidence and not distributed outside of editorial review. Based on your sample submissions, the Art Director will know whether to query your interest in providing new or extant art images to meet requirments for cover or story illustration.
