We believe that previously published fiction should not disappear from the world just because its initial run with the first periodical to publish it is done.

How to submit? First check out our new fiction submission guidelines. All previously published fiction will be judged to the same standards as new fiction submissions.

An added requirement is that you include in your cover e-mail the most recent publisher of the piece and date published along with written affirmation that the rights to the work have indeed reverted to your ownership again.

We pay $20 for a previously published story. For that $20 we expect the rights to publish your story in multiple electronic file formats as part of journal and as a audio podcast. We also require that your story remain available in our magazine archives for a period of one year after initial release.

Please note that there is no guarantee of acceptance for any story, whether previously published or not.
