Evolutions Staff Appearing in this Issue:
| Darwin A. Garrison, Editor | |
| Bio: |
Darwin A. Garrison is a professionally published short-story author and editor
of the new speculative fiction webzine, Darwin's Evolutions. By dint of his disconnect
with reality and the miracle of the "infinite typing monkeys" theory, he has managed to
produce three short science fiction and urban fantasy stories of sufficient quality for sale
to DAW/Tekno anthologies. He also scripts the web comic Technosaurs and recently placed
second in the 2008 Jim Baen Memorial Writing contest with his story Skipping Stones.

| Kate Paulk, Lead Associate Editor and Web Goddess | |
| Bio: |
Kate Paulk pretends to be a mild mannered software quality analyst by day and allows her true evil
author nature through for the short time between finishing with the day job and falling over. She lives
in semi-rural Pennsylvania with her husband, two bossy cats, and her imagination. She often writes
humorous short fiction and non-fiction. Trust us, you don't want to see what happens when she isn't being
funny. Her latest short story sale "Night Shifted" is in DAW's anthology, "Better Off Undead".

| Jennifer Miller, Artist | |
| Bio: |
Jennifer Miller's artistic history started as a toddler, a crayon in
one hand and dragons on her mind. Since then she has gotten a good bit
taller, and has acquired a great many more crayons. Her home is in the
foothills of western NY State where she spent most of her childhood roaming
around the woods, playing with birds and lizards, and doing her best
to draw them. She is immensely interested in the natural world around
her and draws great inspiration from it. Currently she lives with her
husband, four parrots, and a myriad of tropical fish. She still takes
time to roam the woods whenever possible. She has a particular
fascination with flight and flighted creatures, and they are a
reoccurring theme in her pieces.
